You will also have to setup Cartons before you can use this in an estimate. These two Post-Press items work together in an Estimate to automatically calculate the number of cartons to use and how much time it takes to pack those cartons.
1. General Tab
--1. Enter "Your Activity Name" into Activity Name
--2. The Job Description will be copied automatically. Adjust if necessary.
--3. Select the Category.
2. Variable Charges Tab
-- 1. Copy the Variable Charges Settings as shown. Adjust if necessary.
--2. Set the Rate Per 1 Cartons chart up with the appropriate times.
--3. Set the Custom Dialog / Questions popup to Single Question: Custom.
--4. Set the Custom Dialog Text = "How many lbs/carton?"
--5. Set the Formula to Apply = "Rate Count = Quantity / Answer".
For booklet packing select Based On "Press Sheets" for accurate calculations.
