How to setup a Web2Print Site record to communicate with a PrintPoint Storefront at printpoint.us

2. Click the New button to add a record

PrintPoint displays the Web2Print Site Entry screen.

3. Enter the site name for your PrintPoint Storefront

The Site Name is how you identify the site within your list of Web2Print Sites. It is only used within PrintPoint so you can easily identify your Web2Print Sites.

The Web2Print System tells us with which type of system PrintPoint needs to communicate when managing the Storefront.

PrintPoint Storefront is the default.

The is the address your users will enter into their web browser to access the site.

You can optionally click the Validate button to make sure that you entered it correctly. PrintPoint will make a call to the entered site to be sure it receives a response from the entered URL.

Call PrintPoint Tech Support to get the mySQL login information.

9. Click the Test button to test the mySQL connectivity

This will use the entered information to attempt to connect to the mySQL database and be sure that PrintPoint can reach the database for managing the Users, Groups, Categories, Shipping Locations, etc.

10. Enter the Path for PDF Uploads on the ftp server at printpoint.us

Replace the Client Folder Name Here with the name of the folder given to you by PrintPoint Tech Support.

This is where PrintPoint will upload your Products and create the thumbnail images used to display them on the web site.

11. Click the Test Upload button to test the ftp login credentials

Click the Test Upload button to upload a small file to the Path for PDF Uploads folder to verify that the login credentials are correct and allow you to upload files.

The test file will be immediately deleted from the ftp server.

12. Enter the Path for Order Downloads from the ftp server at printpoint.us

Replace the text Client Folder Name Here with the name of the folder given to you by PrintPoint Tech Support.

This is where PrintPoint will download finished PDFs for the orders on the Storefront. These PDFs can be used as the source for printing the Product.

13. (Optional) Click the Choose button to select a local path for downloading Source PDFs when Synching from an Existing PrintPoint Storefront

This path is a local path on your computer where PDFS will be downloaded when you are taking over or cloning an existing PrintPoint StoreFront.

The PDFs for a Products on the existing site will be downloaded to this location.

13. (Optional) Click the Choose button to select a local path for downloading Source PDFs when Synching from an Existing PrintPoint Storefront
