- Click the close box to exit the Maintenance and Security Center. You'll get an alert saying The application will now quit. Click OK to exit.
- Once you are returned to the File Explorer, navigate to the path you noted in the previous step, which is where your data file is located. Here you will find one or more folders named Replaced Files (Repairing) xxxx-xx-xx xx-xx-xx which are the source files repaired in the steps above.
- You should move these to the Desktop to keep as backup until you are sure the data is properly repaired and your users can continue.
- The oldest folder, based on the timestamp, is your original data file. You have one folder for each time you clicked the Repair button in the above steps.
- Launch your PrintPoint 7 Server application as you normally do. Upon opening, you will see indexing thermometers as it creates a new index file for your newly repaired data.
- If you run PrintPoint as a service, you still want to do this step to know when the indexes are done being built.
- Once the indexes are done building, quit the PrintPoint 7 Server application and open the Services Snap-In to start the service again.
- Before alerting all your users that the server is back up, have your one user log in and review the Estimates and Jobs list to verify that the most recent records are there and look correct. Once this user approves, alert all users that the server is available again.
