You will also have to setup Time Based Packing before you can use this in an estimate. These two Post-Press items work together in an Estimate to automatically calculate the number of cartons to use and how much time it takes to pack those cartons.
1. General Tab
--1. Enter "Your Activity Name" into Activity Name
--2. The Job Description will be copied automatically. Adjust if necessary.
--3. Select the Category.
2. Variable Charges Tab
-- 1. Copy the Variable Charges Settings as shown.
-- 2. Adjust the From and To Ranges and Price Level Ranges.
-- 3. Click the Clipboard to copy the Row 1 rates to Additional Hours (Values cannot be left with "0")
--4. Set the Maximum Lbs Per Box.
--5. Set the Custom Dialog / Questions popup to Single Question: Custom.
--6. Set the Custom Dialog Text = "How many boxes?"
--7. Set the Formula to Apply = "Total = Answer * Rate [For Each Qty in Estimate]"
